Democratizing Quality NCERT Education for Every Student in India

In recent years, the landscape of secondary education across India has undergone major structural shifts. With the National Education Policy (NEP) placing heavy emphasis on competency-based evaluation, critical thinking, and conceptual problem-solving, traditional rote memorization is no longer sufficient. Students from both Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools and various State Boards require consistent, high-frequency self-assessment opportunities to assess their comprehension of NCERT textbooks.

However, quality question banks and chapter-level assessments have increasingly become locked behind expensive commercial subscriptions, gated mobile applications, and high-priced coaching materials. This commercial barrier disproportionately affects students living in semi-urban areas, rural villages, and government school environments across India. Students who study in Hindi medium institutions face an even steeper obstacle, as digital study portals routinely neglect bilingual content in favor of English-only materials.

PadhaiPath (boardexams.in) was established to dismantle these barriers. Our mission is simple and uncompromising: every child in India deserves unmetered, high-caliber, curriculum-aligned academic practice regardless of their geographic location, economic background, or linguistic medium. We believe that continuous formative assessment allows learners to pinpoint misconceptions early, build genuine confidence, and excel in both school unit assessments and crucial secondary board examinations.

Our vision for 2027 and beyond is to develop an exhaustive, community-trusted digital companion that supports learners throughout their foundational secondary schooling. We envision a future where high school students and government school teachers have instantaneous access to chapter quizzes, model question papers, revision summaries, and detailed explanations that adhere strictly to current NCERT publications.

Pedagogical Philosophy

Throughout his twenty years in government and secondary schooling, Yogesh Kumar recognized that students frequently struggle not because of a lack of effort, but due to insufficient formative practice. When students attempt examination papers without prior exposure to varied questioning methodologies — such as conceptual objective questions, assertion-reasoning matrices, and application-oriented scenarios — they often suffer from exam anxiety and unforced errors.
